My first love in film is acting.  I appreciate the exercise of trying to understand someone who might be totally different from me and thus understand myself a little better.  There is an excitement that comes with acting that I don't find anywhere else.  It's also scary at times which is one of the things I most enjoy about it.

My pursuit of acting helped make me a producer.  The ability to connect people and see the bigger picture or story that is playing out has proven to be a helpful tool.  My first film credit as a producer came from just helping friends make a feature happen.  Along the way they said "we need to give you a producer credit" and suddenly a door I hadn't really considered was opened to me.
